Sargent County Drain 12 Improvement Project – Enhancing Water Management & Erosion Control
Comstock Construction is proud to have partnered with the Sargent County Water Resource District to deliver the Sargent County Drain 12 Improvement Project, a critical civil construction project aimed at improving drainage, erosion control, and infrastructure longevity. This job – designed by Moore Engineering – involved extensive excavation, grading, culvert replacement, and erosion mitigation to ensure long-term water management efficiency for the region.
Project Scope – Drainage & Infrastructure Upgrades
This comprehensive drainage improvement project focused on enhancing an existing legal drain system through:
- Excavation & Grading – Reshaping the drain channel for optimal water flow and sediment control
- Spoil Bank Construction – Building adjacent soil banks to improve drainage stability
- Erosion Mitigation – Installing permanent rock checks to minimize soil displacement and sediment buildup
- Culvert Replacement – Removing deteriorating steel culverts and installing reinforced concrete box culverts for enhanced drainage capacity and structural longevity
