Rebar Cutting to Celebrate Comstock Construction’s 100-Year Anniversary

Comstock Construction celebrated their 100-year anniversary with a “rebar” cutting at their Fargo office location alongside representatives from the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Area Chamber of Commerce on July 17th, 2024. Though the typical method is to do a ribbon cutting, Comstock Construction opted for a more nontraditional, yet on-theme option of a rebar cutting.

Michael Comstock, fourth-generation owner, began the ceremony with some history of the company throughout its many years and then opened up the floor for questions. Following questions, Michael cut a green spray-painted piece of rebar signifying Comstock Construction’s milestone of reaching 100-years in business, a feat only 3% of companies reach. Afterwards a Chamber representative presented him with a plaque to commemorate the occasion, and then the group headed for some light refreshments and mingling.
